Areas of Service:
Baptism Team: The Baptism Team helps make baptisms meaningful and excellent for new believers! [Helps, Evangelism]
Cafe Team: The Cafe team serves coffee & a smiling face to the people that visit the cafe. They are also responsible for selling church merchandise. [Helps, Hospitality, Service]
Correctional Ministry Team: The Correctional Ministry Team takes our church to the inmates in the local Correctional Facilities. We create an environment for inmates to have the same experience of church services and lifegroups. Our desire is for these men and women to be passionate about Jesus through the transformation He does in their lives. [Encouragement, Evangelism, Mercy, Pastor/Shepherd, Teaching]
Dream Team Host Team: The Dream Team Host Team creates a warm, engaging environment to care for Dream Team members in Dream Team Central. This team welcomes Dream Team members, serves food/refreshments, builds relationships, and offer words of encouragement and prayer. We serve the servants [Exhortation, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Events: The Events Team exists to help create excellent experiences for guests outside of what’s typically offered through weekend services, such as conferences or smaller events that happen throughout the week at the church. The Events Team also helps with anything that is added to a weekend service, such as a lobby giveaway, special series decor, etc. Most of the time, the Events Team serve has includes food and generosity. Greeter Team: The Greeter Team creates a positive first impression by welcoming, greeting, and encouraging each guest as they enter and exit River of Life. [Exhortation, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Growth Track Team: The Growth Track Team helps recruit, set up, guide, and lead our monthly Growth Track sessions. We are responsible for sharing the culture of our church with every person that comes through Growth Track by getting to know them and making them feel comfortable. Host Team: The Host Team creates a welcoming and hospitable environment by initiating conversations and partnering with the Information team to ensure guests have their physical and/or informational needs met. The Host Team also partners with the Greeter Team to greet guests. [Exhortation, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Information Team: The Information Team helps guests identify their next steps by providing resources and information about churches, weekend services, LifeGroups, Growth Track, conferences, and events. [Administration, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Life Group Leaders Team: Enjoy hanging with friends, get togethers, or bible studies? Lead a life group. Life Group Leaders help people at our church experience life change through the context of relationships! [Hospitality, Pastor/Shepherd, Teaching]
Life Students Team: Be a part of leading the next generation! This team serves students by creating fun, meaningful environments for students to make friends, know God, and step into His purpose for their life! [Helps, Leadership, Mercy, Pastor/Shepherd, Teaching]
Outreach Team: The River of Life Outreach Serve Team exists to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities and spheres of influence. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving. [Craftsmanship, Helps, Leadership, Mercy, Missionary, Service]
Parking Team: The Parking Team gives guests a positive first and last impression as they arrive and exit by providing clear direction for a safe and efficient parking experience. [Exhortation, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Photography Team: The photography team helps capture special moments as they happen during our weekend services, First Wednesdays and at specific ministry/church-wide events. [Administration, Leadership, Service]
Prayer Team: The prayer team provides a prayer covering for services, teams, and events at River of Life. There are three serve opportunities on the prayer team: service prayer, First Saturday Prayer, and 21 Days of Prayer. [Exhortation, Faith, Intercession, Knowledge, Mercy, Miracles, Wisdom]
Production Team: The production team enhances the in-house and online worship experience. We spread the Gospel locally and globally through audio, video, and lighting. We provide opportunities for people to hear the Gospel and worship Jesus anywhere and anytime. [Administration, Craftsmanship, Helps, Leadership, Service]
RiverKidz Teams: The River Kidz Team consists of Check In, Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Preteen and our Unlimited (Special Needs) team. Our goal is to create a safe and loving environment for children and begin the partnership between parents and River of Life Church. [Helps, Leadership, Mercy, Pastor/Shepherd, Service, Teaching, Wisdom]
Resource Team: The Resource Team provides resources for guests to have a memorable, excellent experience at River of Life. We assemble and recycle welcome guides that give guests a preview of the worship experience. We restock the auditorium with envelopes and pens & we also assemble and organize communion elements when needed for service. [Helps, Hospitality, Service]
Security Team:The Security team’s focus is ensuring ROL’s staff, members, and attendees have a safe and an uninterrupted experience where they can grow closer to God. People with experience as LE/Military or as a proficient CCW license holder often make a good fit for the Security team. [Discernment, Knowledge, Leadership]
Usher Team: The Usher Team provides a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting people to a seat, facilitating the offering, and helping to maintain a distraction-free worship environment. [Exhortation, Helps, Hospitality, Leadership, Service]
Worship Team: The Worship Team connects people to the presence of God through music and song. We use the musical and creative gifts God has given us to glorify Him and make Him known. [Music/Worship]
